While you do not need to know anything about Egyptian culture specifically, you can expect the same format of most standard weddings. First, is the church ceremony; You'd expect to see ancient coptic orthodox hymnal sounds and beautiful processions. We'll be wearing crowns on our heads for a part of the ceremony called the crowning ceremony. The reception will be vivacious, loud and (very) dance forward so bring your dancing shoes and all your energy with you (and prepare to belly dance at some point in the night)!
